Mirissa - Where ocean giants play

Big thrills? How about a 150,000kg whale coming up for air near your boat? World renowned for whale watching, the small village of Mirissa sits on a gorgeous crescent of beach. Favourable ocean conditions off Mirissa draw the giant Blue whales, Bryde’s whales, sperm whales, killer whales and pilot whales. Four kinds of dolphins (spinner dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, striped dolphin, Risso’s dolphin) can also be spotted.
