It will call you by name - that lake. Say come closer, come know me, all the magic my mirror-glass waters have and hold. Because beauty is not all there is to Koggala Lake. There is a lot to discover, see and explore, which is where having our own boat - a covered Dhoni, comes in very handy. So whenever the lake speaks to you, you won’t need to resist.

Our boatman is from a local village; someone who knows the lagoon inside out. He’ll take you to the best spots on the lake whether you want to watch a sunrise or sunset, have a closer look at the mangrove islands, visit the temple or cinnamon farm, or just enjoy the tranquillity.
