Enjoy a round of golf on a rather interesting green. The Eagles' Catalina Golf Course is set around the runway at the Koggala airport - a small military base by the lake. A tuk ride from Tri takes you to the course for a round of laid-back golf. Caddies, clubs and buggies are provided. Drinks and lunch at the club house, then return for another round, or relax all afternoon, and head back to Tri, after tea.
09-hole course offers nearly 2708 yards.
The airport is a small Sri Lanka Air Force military base.
Take Identification/passports, to be left at the checkpoint. (Safety assured).
Try delicious fresh seafood dishes at the Clubhouse.
Airstrip and golf course can be seen from the Tri Water Tower deck.
